The Statistical Service employs 99 people on a permanent basis. 93 perform statistical functions while 6 carry out supporting activities. The Service also employs 100 employees (end of 2024), who are employed on an indefinite contract and mainly undertake field work duties as interviewers.

The organic structure of the Statistical Service consists of 4 main Divisions and 3 Supporting Sections. 

The main Divisions are:

• National Accounts and Government Finance Statistics
• Business Statistics, Energy, Environment, Agriculture, Science and Technology, Information Society, International Cooperation and Programming
• Prices, Labour Market, Foreign Trade, Data Management and Innovation
• Demographic, Social and Tourism Statistics

The Supporting Sections are:

• Data Processing and Technical Support
• Registry
• Accounts

The Central Office of the Statistical Service is located in Lefkosia. The Statistical Service also has district offices in Lefkosia, Larnaka, Lemesos and Pafos.
