Why is the Wholesale and Retail Trade Survey important?
The statistics produced based on the Wholesale and Retail Trade Survey data, give important information regarding the number of enterprises, employment, production value, value of purchases, value added, stocks, investments, personnel costs and other expenditures in the wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector in our country. The results of this survey provide a useful tool for the government and other relevant bodies, in order to assess the structural developments and estimate the contribution of these sectors to the economy and implement appropriate policies and measures for further improvement.
Consequently, participation in the Wholesale and Retail Trade Survey is important and contributes to a better economy and by extension, better lives for all of us, through the production of official statistics. So, if you are asked to participate, please do!
