Why is the Industrial Production Survey important?
The statistics produced based on the Industrial Production Survey, give important information regarding the number of enterprises, employment, production value, value added, stocks, capital investments, labour cost and other expenditure in our country. The results of this survey provide a valuable tool for the government, in order to estimate the structural developments and the contribution to the economy of the broad industrial sector, which includes mining and quarrying, manufacturing, electricity supply, water supply, sewerage and materials recovery.
Consequently, participation in the Industrial Production Survey is important and contributes to better lives for all of us, through the production of official statistics. So, if you are asked to participate, please do!
