The portal aims to provide users an improved experience, with better accessibility and the use of interactive tools. The main features of the new portal are described as follows:• Statistics: Organised by subtheme, accessible from the menu of “Statistics” in the Home Page. The page for each statistical subtheme contains relevant links to CYSTAT’s new online database (CYSTAT-DB), predefined (excel) tables, publications, infographics, announcements and methodology. • CYSTAT-DB: CYSTAT’s new online database. It is an interactive tool, providing the possibility to create customized tables for various statistics. The database will be continuously enriched with new material. The possibility to use APIs is also provided via CYSTAT-DB, for direct access to machine readable data. A relevant users’ manual is also available on this page. CYSTAT-DB can be accessed from the home page or alternatively from the pages of statistical sub-themes.• Main Indicators: Section in the home page providing the latest updates in statistics for selected indicators. Main indicators can be viewed in the home page (top of the page).• Infographics: Visual representation of statistical data, using images, graphs and minimal text, providing an easy-to-understand overview of a statistical topic. Infographics are accessible via the home page and from statistical sub-theme pages.• Release Calendar (Announcements): In this page the users can find published, confirmed and preliminary announcements. Users are able to search for specific announcements by time period, subtheme and title of announcement. The page is accessible via the home page and statistical sub-themes pages.• Predefined tables: Contains predefined tables in excel format. Users have the option to search for specific tables by statistical subtheme, periodicity and reference year of the data. The page is accessible via the home page and statistical sub-themes pages.• Publications: Contains all electronic publications of CYSTAT. Users can search by statistical subtheme and publication category using the relevant filters. The page is accessible from the statistics menu or from any statistical subtheme page.
