Why is the Continuing Vocational Training Survey important?
The statistics produced based on Continuing Vocational Training Survey (CVTS), give important information on enterprises' practices in training activities for their personnel. In particular, it collects information about the provision by enterprises of CVTS courses, the participation of persons employed in these courses, the cost and duration of the courses, as well as the participation of persons employed in Initial Vocational Training courses in our country. The results of this survey form a valuable tool for the government and other relevant bodies, in the formulation of policies and the implementation of actions relevant to the training of the labour force in Cyprus.
Consequently, participation in the CVTS is important and helps to improve the labour force and the labour market in general, through the production of official statistics. So, if you are asked to participate, please do!
