Why is the Survey on Environmental Protection Expenditures important?
The statistics produced based on the Survey on Environmental Protection Expenditures, give important information regarding employment, expenditure and investment in capital equipment in the broad industrial sector, which includes mining and quarrying, manufacturing, electricity and water supply as well as in the broad public sector for environmental protection purposes in our country. Municipal authorities and specialized providers of environmental protection services are also covered.
The results of this survey are processed for the preparation of expenditure accounts for environmental protection.
