Latest Figures: Turnover Value Index in Transport and Storage, 3rd Quarter 2018

The Turnover Value Index of Transport and Storage for the third quarter of 2018 recorded an increase of 19,5% compared to the corresponding quarter of 2017.
By economic activity, an increase of 137,3% was recorded in air transport, 3,5% in land transport, 1,3% in postal and courier activities and 0,2% in warehousing and support activities for transportation, whereas a decrease of 2,6% was observed in water transport over the corresponding quarter of 2017.
The Turnover Value Index of Transport and Storage for the period January-September 2018 recorded an increase of 11,4% compared to the corresponding period of 2017.
